Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
setting people to work and supervising works to ensure all the tasks are being completed properly and safely. Attending meetings when needed to update and get updates.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
3/5
Balfour Beatty as a whole is a good company that give a lot of benefits and they also provide a lot of opportunity but there are discrepancies across the project for things such as working hrs etc

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
3/5
over the 10 months of me being here I have learned new skills via training and also being on site but the on site learning does seem to be a bit stagnated.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
it is quite good because there is a roadmap set out for you, it is all paid for and there is a lot of training that they put you through. there are probably slight areas of improvement that could be achieved but nothing major.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
There is always a support line there for you if its needed and the company will try and work with you on the issue at hand and will approach it for how the situation needs.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
The training provider gives additional extensive support on top of the work place and that ranges from educational needs all the way to emotional and even financial help.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
As of now I cannot see how what i have learned through my training provider aligns with what I have had to do at work so far. this may change but I'm not sure yet.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
yes there are plenty, there are always events on to gain networking opportunities such as DofE award paid for, events held to show support for colleges and also sporting activities held during the week after work to keep moral up and improve team bonding on the project.
