Overall, how would you describe your experience at Premier Foods?
I've thoroughly enjoyed my time at Premier Foods so far. Over the last 2 months, I've settled into my role and expanded my understanding of commercial marketing. I've been trusted with owning new projects, which has helped me develop my skills and gain hands-on experience. Overall, it has been a really rewarding experience.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
I am responsible for managing the marketing budget and overseeing the full process of bringing a new product to launch in retailors. I have also updated website content and I am currently working to refresh product packaging and SRPs.
To what extent does your role give you the opportunity to contribute meaningfully and feel valued by your team?

How does your compensation package - including perks & benefits - fairly remunerate you for the work you do?

The role offers relatively few benefits as we do not receive a bonus despite our contributions to the business, and the salary is quite low given the cost of living in and around London.

How is the support you receive?

My line manager is excellent. She is very supportive and always willing to answer any questions. We meet several times a week. I also have monthly meetings with my mentor from another area of the business, and I have both a grad buddy and another graduate in my team who I can speak to whenever I need support.
How is your work-life balance?

The work-life balance is very good. I work from 9 to 5:30, with the option of an early finish on a Friday if I have no deadlines. I've also taken part in several social events with my team which has been great to get to know them outside of the work environment.

Why?
As someone who's passionate about food, I really enjoy working with brands I love, and it feels meaningful to contribute to products that are loved by nearly everyone. I also find the FMCG sector because it's dynamic and there is so much to get involved in.
