Overall, how would you describe your experience at Balfour Beatty?
Excellent, I have been gaining more and more responsibility over the course of my time here whilst also developing my personal learning.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
My favorite part of my job is when i get to price something that is needed on site and then a couple of months later i get to see the project i priced in action when i visit the site, very rewarding experience.
To what extent does your role give you the opportunity to contribute meaningfully and feel valued by your team?

I was assigned to a team of 4 when i first started and the team has been growing every since, we have regular in person project meetings where anyone can speak up and contribute.
How does your compensation package - including perks & benefits - fairly remunerate you for the work you do?

Th benefits available at Balfour Beatty are the best ive ever seen, everything is covered if you need it. They also cover all travel and accommodation costs for site visits etc.
How well do you feel the role is preparing you for your future career?

I will be continuing in the same role and definitely staying at Balfour Beatty for the future so it is perfectly preparing me.
How would you rate the extent to which you were developing new or existing skills through formal training and your day-to-day role?

The role at Balfour Beatty is a constant learning cycle with every day bringing something i have not learnt or seen before, the availability of my managers is key when i have questions they are always there to answer and help me develop.

I have such a good team around me that if i am becoming overloaded with work i can easily speak up and ask them to help out and this means my home life is never affected.

Loads of social events that are free mean the company atmosphere is like its a company full of friends.

It has everything a young and upcoming worker needs to develop and become better at what they do whilst also offering chances on big projects that will lead to incredible hands on experiences.

Make sure you put as much to showcase yourself on your CV as possible. Balfour is a huge company they receive so many CVs you need to stand out some how to get an interview.
