Overall, how would you describe your experience at Premier Foods?
I am a year into my Procurement Graduate scheme at Premier and it has been great ! It felt slightly overwhelming at the start, however the friendly culture made it so easy to settle in. Everyone wants to help you and see you succeed. You get given lots of responsibility at the very beginning which is brilliant for your experience, especially at the start of your career.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
From day one I was given responsibility of a few different categories which I had to tender, contract, deal with supply issues and maintain good supplier relationships. I have enjoyed building relationships with suppliers.
