Overall, how would you describe your experience at Balfour Beatty?
My experience at Balfour Beatty has been very positive. I have enjoyed the mix of office and site-based work, with continuous opportunities to learn and take on new challenges. I have had access to a wide range of training, both online and in person, including a 9-month digital innovation programme.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
-Promoting environmental compliance through depot site visits i.e. waste management
-Bid support - sustainability answer planning and writing
-Reporting sustainability data and tracking monthly performance
-Developing the case study library to showcase best practice
-Overseeing and progressing carbon reduction initiatives and facilitating circular economy working group
