Overall, how would you describe your experience at Balfour Beatty?
My experience being at Balfour Beatty has been fantastic, i have felt the culture has been extremely caring and focused on teaching/ correcting rather than criticising when failures happened. Everyone i have worked with, on site or within the office have all had this attitude when working on Balfour Beatty sites.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
The main responsibilities of my role was to do compliance testing on concrete, earthworks and asphalt, while doing the physical onsite work which was a huge aspect of what i enjoyed, i also had to look into the Highway Standards and ensure that it was being followed
To what extent does your role give you the opportunity to contribute meaningfully and feel valued by your team?

Ive been to 2 projects (M25 J10 and NZT) and in each of these projects, ive felt like my contributions have been heard and valued.

I feel like Balfour Beatty is a great place to learn, it ranges over so many different subjects that if the role doesnt feel right to them, its encouraged to move around different departments to find what they do enjoy.
