We also have Graduate Charity Reps on the Graduate Council that support the Company's pledge take part in annual charity initiatives such as:
1. The Great Tommy Sleep Out for the Royal British Legion Industries (RBLI) where employees brave an overnight sleep in a tent in the cold to recognise the experience and raise money for veterans,
2. Remembrance Day with the Royal British Legion selling poppies and volunteering
3. Blind Veterans UK to celebrate the 80th anniversary for VE day where employees were encouraged to take part in a charity challenge such as walking 80 miles over 80 days or another creative activity.
As a culture, employees celebrate volunteering activities that they achieve and are passionate about. Personally, my manager takes part in many veteran initiatives and openly supports and advocates for charity initiatives, many of the workforce are veterans themselves. With the Graduate Council, we have Social Reps across many sites that are fun, encourage networking, and generate collaboration within the business that support mental health.
