Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Serving retail, corporate and replacement customers into cars. Writing contracts, fleet health management, driving cars, customer service, every day was different.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes, I became an essential part of the team and felt I made a positive difference. I even helped train new employees that started after me.

I was given a mentor who I could reach out to, all staff were always happy to help and develop each other as well.

Company Culture

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
It is very collaborative/working as a team. Each branch has a family-like feel. However, in some cases rather than branches helping other branches, they would do the opposite such as passing damaged vehicles without being honest or sending poor vehicles one way to another location.

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
I had a very mixed experience. I worked incredibly long hours on such a low salary and my job role didn't differ at all from other colleagues who were graduates. However, I learnt a lot of skills and met some great people, and am glad I did the internship.

What advice would you give to others applying to Enterprise Mobility
It is very heavily based on sales, this can cause some people to make unethical decisions. There are a lot of progression opportunities within the company so if you're good at the job you can go far.
