Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

As a duty manager I am expected to be the face of the business. Working closely with team and helping lead them forward. Helping deal with guests and any needs/ issues they have during their journey with us. Dealing with safe and legal business such as paper work and finances to ensure policies are met.

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

It is very beneficial to me as it teaches me how to better myself in my work. Gives me depth into why certain things are expected off me as a manger and how I can adapt my current skills.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

My skills in communication have grown. This being through the use of body language and how to remain professional in certain situations. I have also learnt further into how lead team rather than just manage, getting stuck in with the team and working together rather than delegating
