Overall, how would you describe your experience at DHL?
DHL has been amazing for my learning and development. I started on the Digital and Technology Graduate scheme after finishing a degree in finance, but did not have to worry about having specific skills. Everything you need is taught to you, I've had the opportunity to tailor my placement to what roles I want and everyone is supportive. As part of my graduate scheme, I am doing a Masters in Data Analytics so can continue my studies. I also had the opportunity to be on placement directly under the CEO and UK Board, getting to go to board meetings and network with the senior leaders.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
Project management, IT software updating, training and testing.

How is the support you receive?

When I started I was paired with a buddy, had constant communication with my line manager and the wider Senior Leadership Team. The graduate team is there to give support and all graduates were given a dedicated mentor.
If you want a specific mentor in a field, you need to make the connections and reach out. Everyone is very supportive and helpful, but you need to work for what you want.

Able to take time for appointments, can start early / later based on manager discretion.

Go green is a big agenda , dedicated sustainability teams, each team has a CSR activity they choose to do, e.g. I went on a litter pick around my local area.

Yes
Why?
I've gained so much exposure to the wider business, support with everything and an interesting role. The company is so big that if you don't like what you currently do, there will be another team that does what you want. Global team and possibility for international travel when required
