Management Trainee Review

On a day to day basis it would be building relationships with customers who were either through their insurance company or on a retail basis. I would serve them and explain insurances and do the paperwork with them and then upon return if the vehicle inspect it and follow up with questions to ensure they were happy. If there was damage i would raise claims. When I wasn’t serving customers I would be completing other roles in the area of risk and finance.

You are given a lot of responsibility in a very controlled and supported nature. You are given an area of the business to look after / maintain and that allows you to manage it with the guidance and help of your manager

Yes - many practical skills required for business but also lots of soft and transferable skills.

Lots. There were multiple points of contact from HR and you were given a mentor who would check in. Plus management were all supportive and there for you day to day

A lovely company culture. They genuinely want you to succeed and they reward hard work. We would often have dinners as a team or lunch bought for us as well as a friendly and fun environment

I enjoyed my internship to a large extent. They taught me a lot and they wanted me to do well so I got to experience a whole range of things hands on- I didn’t feel like a spare part or an intern, I was a trusted employee.
