Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Preparing materials for a number of live mandates and upcoming client pitches. Primarily using excel and powerpoint with research involved to create market overviews.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

I was able to work on a number of live mandates gaining valuable insight into the sector as well as attending client facing meetings.

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?

I definitely learned a lot from this experience. Attention to detail and presentation skills were crucial and I further developed my excel and powerpoint capabilities. It also gave me valuable market insight

Support and Guidance

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?

I received a huge amount of support throughout my time in the company. I was assigned a line manager and a 'buddy', who both gave me a lot of advice and help. Furthermore, everyone throughout the business was extremely generous with their time, for coffee chats and meetings
