Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
My role as an intern as part of the rail team revolved around building the automation of RC beam design using python and excel. Therefore, daily testing, building an excel spreadsheet, coding and consulting the Eurocodes was an every day task. Alongside that I had a 3D printing challenge where I had to 3D model a bridge, I had a bridge design challenge where I had to design the bridge alongside using OTL to estimate the carbon content and finally I also had to organise events to raise money for charity.
