Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Consisted of checking in customers, ensuring cars returned in good condition, dealing with customer queries and problem solving.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

A lot of responsibility, had to deal with huge sums of money, and ensure that rental agreements that customers were signing were written and explained correctly.

I received a lot of guidance, my managers were willing to help answer any questions I had and were very supportive. Wanted us to reach targets and achieve goals which helped a lot.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

It was a positive and fun environment to work in, everyone I met, even from other branches, were so nice and very chatty. The events and rewards that were given made it so we would want to reach our goals.

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

I really enjoyed my internship, everyone I worked with made it easier to come to work. Everyday is different and you are constantly learning something new. However, I would have loved more training on management training, but I understand with the short time frame it is difficult to complete.
