Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Support team processes on a daily basis, gain an understanding of the teams role and how that integrates with the rest of the business. Contribute to projects which had scope to bring my own ideas to the table and independence to reach out to others and collaborate on new initiatives.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Yes - very much so, I was given responsibility to manage my own workflow whether that be through helping team members or longer term project work.

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?

Developed skills in communication including changing communication style in different work environments. Learned new skills working with platforms that were unknown to me such as PowerBI, Copilot Studio Agent and PowerAutomate

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?

Enough - the internship was not overly structured which p-laces high importance on you reaching out to people, finding where you are interested and tailoring your work to that, which was great! Brilliant support from the HR team if you had any problems or questions and also offering new development opportunities.

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

Very much so - gained great real world experience in a field that interests me and was able to contribute to meaningful projects. Made loads of new friends and had a great time.
