Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Consulting and surveying in the education sector of the business. Preparing tenders, valuations, site visits, budget costs, client facing.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes, once I was comfortable I was given my own clients. All work was signed off by a line manager before completion.

Good, only negative is that we predominantly work from home which as a new starter is difficult to build relationships with colleagues.
