The Early Careers Team also contributed immensely to the positive intern experience at the bank. With bi-weekly socials that emphasize team building and bonding - the interns very quickly became friends with each other - making for a very nice culture amongst the interns, too. People try to help each other out - and their is collaboration instead of rivalry. Ultimately - the culture is truly excellent. It's a wonderful place where you can bring your whole self to work.

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
The Early Careers Team have also made this internship overwhelmingly positive and unforgettable. Their hard work in supporting the interns, through networking events, socials, and intern presentations has allowed interns to learn so much and truly grow professionally and personally while at the bank. Their advocacy to connect interns with senior leadership is another highlight of the program - which really makes this experience stand out.
Ultimately, this was an excellent internship. I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone considering applying. I had the most amazing summer with the Scotiabank team and have learnt so much!
