Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
Day one focused on getting to know J.P. Morgan through deep dives into J.P Morgan's teams and their work, panel sessions exploring the daily work of analysts and associates and interactive Q&A.
Days two to four shine a spotlight on the different areas in the business you could join helping you choose the path that is best for you. Also took part in an interactive group challenges designed to replicate the work done as a J.P. Morgan banker.

What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
Participation in your Spring Insight Programme would expose me to the opportunities and culture that exist; gain insight how you have achieved success even through volatile markets and microeconomic uncertainty.
I feel confident that, if I take part I improved by expanding my knowledge further and continually thrive and develop by never sitting back and just doing the bare minimum. Overall, I believe J.P Morgan differentiates itself from competitors because of its purpose. By innovating and thinking forwardly to ensure your strategic aims are constantly met.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
Helped me improve my skills during an interactive workshop and give you time to network with each other and our business leaders.
Through the interview workshop I was able to receive an insight into J.P Morgans's dynamic environment would enable me to further develop my adaptability to life beyond academic studies, refine my public speaking skills through networking with current employees and peers as well as displaying my curiosity to grasp innovative concepts within each division. Furthermore, receiving constructive feedback after activities and informative sessions at the end of the programme is something I highly value.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Culture was very inclusive, highlighting to spring interns J.P Morgan is a open and positive community who looks after everyone regardless of race, ethnicity etc. especially in times of COVID-19.

To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
Enjoyed all interactive and networking sessions, where I was able to ask personal questions to member of J.P Morgan community, and being able to hear them express their passion for this company was very encouraging.

What tips or advice would you give to others applying to J.P. Morgan
Make sure you prepare questions for your speakers and understand the case study going into each day. But most of all enjoy the week and get the most out of it through networking and creating those long lasting relationship with your spring interns as well as J.P Morgan representatives.
