Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
We had talks on each of the practice areas, with an average of a couple a day. Otherwise, when we were sitting in our seat, we would complete various tasks related to that seat. A common example is a research task into a certain topic and preparing an advice letter to a client. We also had exposure in reading documents and contracts.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
It was fascinating learning more about different areas of the business, including practice areas which I would not have normally gravitated to. Everyone was very friendly and willing to provide more information about the firm and the day-to-day life and culture.

I've developed my legal research skills significantly using resources such as Practical Law. I have also honed my written communication to clients and simplifying advice for different audiences.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The company culture was very welcoming and friendly. Everyone is approachable, including those higher up. They are helpful and willing to give time to help you understand anything.
