Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Same as job description provided, to ellaborate further I would say that being involved in cross-functional/ departmental tasks. On a daily basis I will support colleagues from my own department as well as those from differing departments.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Yes, at Forvia you will be given tasks that are meaningful/ important. This placement is not one that involves making tea for others ;)

The site that I worked at was a large one with many other placement students and graduates that were fantastic for support and guidance. Similarly, my senior colleauges and manager were very patient and supportive.

Company Culture

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

Very kind, supportive, and patient. As Forvia have been running graduate schemes for 10 years and the placement scheme for even longer they are very well organised. Everyone is aware that you are a student that is still learning and help you along your journey.

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

It was a very nice place to spend my placement, allowing me to take in a lot of opportunities to develop my skills. It was an extremely valuable experience for me.
