Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Monitoring of daily in plant production, communicating and managing non-sequenced special build projects. Engaging with customers and being a vocal point for communication regarding orders, project MRD’s and issues.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
I was tasked with overseeing entire build projects, managing flows independently which direct affected customer performance.

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
I enjoyed my placement overall, success was recognised and celebrated by all. Challenges did occur and disagreements would arise when opinions were overlooked by other employees. Being classed as ‘weak’ because I am a student affected confidence and made meetings with these people more difficult

Be prepared to work from day 1, really fast paced and meaningful work becomes your priority instantly. Prepare for a tough first few weeks, but once settled the workload becomes more manageable through perseverance
