Event management, absence management including tracking absence, scheduling absence meetings, and writing all correspondence with the employee during this process. diversity and inclusion initiatives. What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Very male dominated and some interesting characters and social dynamics that you have to learn how to navigate. You are expected to be able to take on a lot of work especially if someone leaves. teamwork is valued a lot however.

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
It has provided me with invaluable experience, personally and professionally. I know what to expect and what is important to me in a full time role, and i would have never developed so significantly as a person without being at forvia. There have been some hard circumstances to work through, but i would undertake the placement year again

Understand that it is a full on year and you get out of it what you put into it. You can have a really good year if you want to.
