Kpi reporting
Supporting and carrying out my own audits
Managing and leading projects
Attending meetings to represent my department

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

I believe I was given a lot of responsibility and this was gradually bestowed on me to build up my tolerance and confidence so it wasn’t a sudden change. This was useful as it meant I wasn’t put under much stress

I developed my projects management skills as I had previously only worked on smaller projects - during this placement year I led a scale on a much larger scale, something I had not done before

I had support available to me from my direct line manager as well as HR if ever I thought it was necessary. I was well aware of what to do if I needed support. For individual tasks I was also aware of who the right person to help me was

Company Culture

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

The company for the most part was very helpful and positive but I found that some individuals have the tendency to project their issues or feelings (I.e. negative) onto others which could lower team morale
