Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
Planning and providing targeted process improvement support to strategic projects and programmes. The role incorporates aspects of project management, data analysis and change management.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
The programmes was enjoyable but sometimes it was challenging balancing attending the sessions and learning new content whilst working full-time.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
Working with other apprentices from other sectors and with different levels of experience, helped to develop my team working and communication skills. The programme also focussed on methods of data collection and analysis, which I really benefitted from.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
Very well organised, we knew what content we would cover in each session, so if you couldn't attend a session it was possible to catch up on the material.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
Lots - my line manager was very supportive and took an active interest in the programme and how I was doing with my project.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
Again lost - my tutor was accessible and contactable so I could ask questions. I felt well prepared for my end point assessment.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
Massively, I feel so much more confident in my role, particularly in data collection planning and data analysis. I have also been able to share my learning with other colleagues in the team.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
Yes, we regularly have social and networking opportunities in our department, and across the wider organisation. We have also started to do volunteering activities as a department.
