My role as Group Operations Learning & Development Business Partner is to create & deliver the strategic agenda of Learning and Development at the Premier Foods Manufacturing sites.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I love the L7 Senior Professional People apprenticeship, it is incredibly relevant to the work I am doing now. It is really helping me to develop the skills and behaviours I need for this role.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes, working at this level in the organisation, I am having to learn to operate and communicate at a strategic level. This interaction with the executive team is very different to working with my peers.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

Really well structured, but most importantly, my tutor[This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the Higherin Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] is a fantastic support and sounding board to help me through the qualification and to discuss different approaches in the workplace.

At this level, you are expected to be self-reliant, however I have always received support when needed

It has helped a lot. The transition to a group role is very different; the qualification and modules within it have really helped with the transition.
