I think the structure of the apprentice programme should be revised. During the length of my programme so far, I don't feel like I have learnt as much as I should due to certain factors on my project, I am unable to be involved as much I would like to be.

Should be be more focus on how to develop the apprentice and build their skills throughout the 5 year programme. We need certain skills in order to pass the apprentice should there should be a focus on the apprentice gaining these skills and be put on variety of projects where this is possible. To build their confidence in this industry and line of work.

Why?
The opportunities are there however just need to be placed in the right direction, or speak tot he right person. It is difficult starting with no experience in the industry so I would look to fix the structure of the programme.
