Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
I manage customer interactions and ensure a high level of service delivery on a daily basis. My day-to-day responsibilities include operational support, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement.
A key part of my role is incident management, where I handle and resolve escalations promptly to minimise any disruption to the customer experience. In addition, I take a keen interest in customer service, ensuring that any concerns or issues raised are addressed efficiently and that customer satisfaction is consistently maintained. To resolve complex issues, I facilitate communication between field teams and other internal departments, ensuring alignment and collaboration between all parties.
Aside from maintaining detailed documentation of escalated cases and their resolutions, I also identify areas for improvement by supporting accountability. As part of my responsibilities, I also train and support Customer Service Teams, equipping them with the knowledge and tools they need to provide excellent customer service. Lastly, I proactively look for recurring issues and process gaps, recommending enhancements that improve efficiency and customer satisfaction. As part of my role, I also maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders through consistent communication, transparency, and the ability to earn their trust over time.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
As a part of my programme, I have the opportunity to make a tangible impact on both customer experiences and internal operations by being part of a dynamic, meaningful environment. As a result of the variety in daily tasks-solving complex problems to collaborating with different teams-the role keeps me engaged and fulfilled. My greatest appreciation is the opportunity to grow professionally while helping shape better service outcomes. Building relationships, resolving challenges, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives gives me a strong sense of purpose.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
The skills I've developed and acquired in my current position have enhanced my ability to deliver exceptional service and drive operational efficiency. Managing conflict and escalation has been one of my biggest growth areas. By dealing with complex customer issues, I have become more adept at staying calm under pressure, assessing situations objectively, and finding solutions quickly, all while keeping the customer first. As well as improving my communication skills, I have developed a stronger understanding of stakeholder management, particularly how to coordinate across multiple departments and build strong, transparent relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. As far as new skills go, I’ve gained valuable experience in tracking and documenting data, analyzing case trends, and suggesting improvements based on that insight. I have also developed my capabilities in mentoring and training by supporting team members and sharing best practices to improve service quality. My performance has improved as a result of these developments, as well as my confidence in leading initiatives and contributing to a continuous improvement culture.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
As a whole, the programme is well-structured and well-organized, with a clear progression from foundational concepts to more advanced, specialized topics. In spite of that, there is always room for improvement - communication around deadlines or changes could be more timely at times. But overall, the course provides a solid framework for learning and development.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
With Pearson's support, I have been able to develop professionally and have a positive experience in the program. It is a pleasure to work with my managers and colleagues because they are responsive and approachable. They are always happy to provide feedback, encouragement, and guidance. With clear communication channels, frequent check-ins, and access to resources, I am able to stay on top of both my day-to-day responsibilities and long-term goals. Additionally, they have encouraged me to grow through training opportunities and constructive feedback, which demonstrates their genuine interest in me.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
The resources provided by my training provider, such as lecture materials, reading lists, and online platforms, have been helpful and accessible while I work towards my qualifications. There have been times when lecturers and tutors have been very supportive and responsive to students' questions or concerns, but at times they have provided varying levels of individual guidance. In certain situations, more consistent or proactive support would have been beneficial, especially when assignment deadlines or feedback clarity were unclear. I've generally found help when I needed it, and the structure of the program provides a good foundation for independent learning.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
In addition to improving my performance in my role, my qualification has given me a broader perspective on business operations and customer service strategies. Especially in areas such as communication, problem-solving, and process improvement, my theoretical knowledge has been directly applicable to my day-to-day duties. Despite some modules being more relevant than others, the course has improved my critical thinking skills and boosted my confidence, empowering me to approach challenges more strategically.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
Alongside my role, I have had several opportunities to engage in extracurricular activities, which have greatly enriched my overall experience. I have also had the opportunity to volunteer at international events such as GKPN (Global Kingdom Partners Network) gatherings in Athens and Madrid outside of my daily responsibilities. As a result of these events, I was able to build valuable connections, gain exposure to global perspectives, and contribute to impactful initiatives by connecting with leaders from a wide range of sectors and countries. Moreover, I organized a major New Year's Eve celebration for my church, which attracted over 1,800 attendes. In a dynamic, high-pressure environment, I was able to apply and further develop my planning and communication skills, which required a high level of organisation, teamwork, and leadership. I have gained transferable skills that have supported my professional development through these experiences.
