Meet with the team I am working with on current project and discuss tasks and any upcoming work. Continue with this work for the rest of the day, mainly CAD based tasks
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Very much, its challenging but feels rewarding in how much I learn and getting the opportunity to work towards my degree

Every day I learn something new about either software I use, work processes or something to do with standards

very well structured however I feel certain dates like exam dates could be made more accessible
How much support do you receive from your employer?

All the support I need everyone is very helpful, from line managers to co workers. Most of the time my biggest struggle is time management it can be hard to do uni work after a whole day of working. The course load is pretty full on
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

The university can be helpful but the staff feel distant and honestly I am not too sure who to email in regards to some modules, when I do email for help it can take days for them to reply
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Not at all, so far (2 years in) I have used nothing from University at work
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are regular Highways team meetings with a social after, once a month and other things like pre work running club.

Would you recommend Arcadis to a friend?
Yes
Why?
They are very helpful, competent and the co-workers are good fun to be around. The flexibility is also unparalleled to my previous experience all be it this is limited
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Arcadis?
Think about what they are trying to see in each application stage, and dont treat group interviews as a competition the goal is for your group to do well and it is not a competition, remain composed and communicate clearly with your peers
