Writing job adverts. Liaising with Managers and applicants for various Healthcare roles. I arrange interviews and share the benefits of working in our service.
I speak with potential candidates looking for healthcare roles and find them suitable roles to apply for. I support managers through the recruitment process.

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Im really enjoying my L5 People Professional program. My tutor is really supportive and my line manager ensures i have the time to complete the work needed. My line manager also supports me by challenging me and gives me opportunities to learn new things that will benefit my training. My whole team have supported me and encouraged me to do my best.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes. I have learned alot during my first few months in my apprenticeship. The importance of fact finding, using resources available and taking the time to understand what i can do to support. I have worked with candidates, managers, business unit managers and directors. I am learning how to present my self in the best way possible and adapting my approach to get the best for the team i work with.

Very! I know exactly what is expected of me and i have confidence to ask for help when needed, as i know he support is there if needed.
I have a diary that is organised and planned with plenty of notice for training programs, one to ones and catch up meeting regarding my apprenticeship.

How much support do you receive from your employer?

Lots. I have lots of opportunities to learn more and support others. There have been events I have been invited to that have given me experiences and learnings i can use in my current role and that have helped me understand the role of a people professional. I feel i have experts in our business i can ask fo r ideas, advice and support.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I have plenty of support from my tutor. I feel i can contact her if needed and she is always very helpful in pointing me in the right direction. I have felt nothing but confident i can achieve this qualification.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I think the content that is shared in the apprentice workshops is so valuable as it helps in my everyday role. I fell i can understand people better, i feel i can ask more questions to make a better informed decision when supporting someone looking for an outcome.
I know there are a number of different platforms i can use to get more information on certain topics and that i can find the right information to support myself and others.

Ive taken part in recruitment open days. events where we are interviewing candidates, and sharing the HCRG Care Group values and culture with potential candidates.
Ive also taken part in Welcome events across the country when we were onboarding 3500 new employees. This was an amazing experience to get involved and meet new people. I felt confident answering any questions or worries people had and it was a great experience to see how this worked for our company.

I love this place. The team i work with are so supportive, understanding and open to helping others. I feel supported and valued in my role and I love my job!
The managers i liaise with in the Services are so open to help and support from our recruitment team. We can see the difference our work has on the process. Its good to see the hard work in action

What tips or advice would you give to others applying to HCRG Care Group?
Do it! The opportunity to join a team that really wants to make difference is reality here. I have seen this first hand from my first day. We all work together to achieve great things.
