I am responsible for leading a team of domestic staff and porters. I plan work schedules and rotas, record absences, and authorise annual leave requests.

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I have found useful but challenging. Difficult to get the right support for projects and tasks required to fulfil the assignments.

I spent the first 8 months of my apprenticeship without a line manager and no support was given. My first mentor was assigned to another programme. Very chaotic from the start.

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I do feel that I perform better in my role however I'm unable to progress with projects and responsibilities within my department due to my current Line Manager's inability to delegate and involve me in departmental progress.
