I work for therapy team and I help patients to recover from illness, surgery or build a confidence with day to day tasks
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoyed my physiotherapy apprenticeship so far. The programme offers a good balance between practical experience and academic learning , which has helped me build both confidence and competence in a clinical setting . Working along side experienced professionals has been especially valuable, as it allows me to apply what I learn in real situations and develop my skills day by day. While it can be challenging at times , the support form mentors and the opportunity to make a positive impact on patients make it very rewarding.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The programme is well organised and structured . There is clear plan in place that supports both learning and practical development , making it easy to understand what is expected at each stage, however if any changes are made this is communicated in a timely manner.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive good support from my employer through out the programme. The person responsible for arranging my placements ensures everything is well organised and that I am given valuable learning opportunities in the variety of settings.
My work base mentor is also very supportive, offering regular guidance , feedback and encouragement, which helps me build confidence and develop my skills.

I receive a good level of support from my training provider when working towards my qualification. They are always available to offer guidance and assistance as and when required.

There are accasional social events, which are great way to connect with colleagues outside the clinical environment. These help create a positive workplace culture and strengthen relationships within the team

Being proactive and asking questions and seeking feedback from staff is also very beneficial. Having a positive attitude and being committed to learning will help you to get you most out of the experience.
