In my role as an Intelligence Analyst, I strive to offer valuable data insights to our colleagues in the UK and internationally, as well as to various internal and external stakeholders. I understand the importance of quality assurance and assessment performance, both internally and externally, and I aim to equip the business with the tools needed to monitor these effectively. By harnessing data insights, I hope to contribute to making our processes more efficient and impactful. I am dedicated to driving improvements in quality assurance and assessment, and I truly believe that through thoughtful data analysis and reporting, we can work together to enhance our overall performance.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

My apprenticeship turned out to be a highly beneficial experience that resulted in concrete gains. I discovered the importance of maintaining a disciplined approach to time management, which allowed me to effectively balance my work and studies. This focus helped me maximise my learning and growth throughout the process.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

During my apprenticeship, I developed strong analytical abilities and honed my skills in data visualisation. This experience not only boosted my confidence but also enhanced my understanding of stakeholder needs, enabling me to provide insights that truly align with what they were looking for.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The design and delivery of the program were well done and aligned with my work needs. However, I believe there are certain elements that could benefit from further exploration. I understand the time constraints we faced, which limited our ability to dive deeper, but I appreciate the opportunity to conduct independent studies to supplement my learning
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Pearson provided excellent support, particularly from my line management team, who were proactive in adjusting my working hours and facilitating access to support services. They also organised extra-curricular activities that greatly enhanced my engagement with fellow apprentices.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

The training provider assigned a personal coach to guide you through your journey, ensuring you always have a dedicated point of contact to support your progress. Additionally, there’s a data mentor available for any technical assistance you may need. To further enhance your learning experience, they’ve scheduled data clinic sessions and provided access to a wealth of online resources for independent study.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

My apprenticeship was highly beneficial, teaching me disciplined time management to balance work and studies effectively.
