Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
My role involves attending to reports of crime and dealing with what I see in front of me. It is safeguarding victims and witnesses and dealing with offenders.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I enjoy adapting what I have learnt practically and learning as I work.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
Yes, I feel like I am learning new skills everyday working with people from various backgrounds. It has taught me that every job I attend to is different and I have to adapt my skills to that particular job.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
I feel like the programme is definitely working well from what I have seen. I feel like it works well having the learning we already do, count as part of our university grade.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
I receive support whenever I need to. Being on response is very demanding, therefore I don't always get time to focus on my portfolio, but I do still find time in between the busy pattern.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
The training provider has been very proactive in giving support when it is needed and I know I can always email someone about an issue I have and this will be acknowledged and helped with.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
I feel learning with a university provider, as well as learning whilst working is the best of both worlds. I can learn thing classroom based and use this to put into practice.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
I don't particularly enjoy sports, however I know that work does offer different teams people who join can be a part of.
