I assist in managing construction projects from a consultant side.

I really enjoy it and i am thankful for my apprenticeship.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Confidence in public speaking has been the biggest skill ive learnt as i am dealing with individuals daily. As well as all the technical stuff i cover within the workplace and university.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

It is organised and structured which i appreciate as i like a routine.

How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive all the support i need. i cannot fault Arcadis.

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I say i gain more from my employer but i think only because its the technical side you learn alot from. But my training provider give me what i need for my assignments etc.

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It aids some technical competencies, but alot of the learning i feel comes directly from on the job experience.

Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

I network, but i dont opt to join extra activities just from personal choice.

They are a great employer, whether it be helping with your work life, study life or personal life. They aim to provide a healthy work life balance which is so important especially when doing a degree and chartership.
