Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

The Employee Relations Lead role is responsible for understanding, applying and updating all employment related legislative documents including contracts, policies and compliance documents. In addition, the team lead on all casework within the business up to and including dismissal as well as all tribunal work. Finally the team work to increase manager capability including updates on legislative changes and trends and themes specific training needs.

The apprenticeship has really help me develop manager capability and ensure that issues and concerns are explored in a more consistent way.

the programme was structured and involved a mixture of workshops, 121 with my coach, portfolio and exams,

Ibstock was brilliant and allowed me time to complete work in my paid hours and also allowing a different mix of coachees to be coached by me.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Instep were really good and if i needed extra sessions with my tutor she would book them in with me and if i had any questions they would help me in a timely manner.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

The coaching skills i have learnt have been life changing, i now understand the power of asking my stakeholders the right questions as well as the positive power of stepping back and listening.
