Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I sell holidays, make, amendments to holidays, and help customers our with all things to do with travel. I also work along side this to do apprenticeship work in travel and tourism 6 hours per week.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I do enjoy my programme as I feel a seance of accomplishment when I can see my progress go up.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes I have learnt many skills all to do this travel and tourism which I can easily use in my role.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

I think that the program is organised really well and I receive a lot of support from my apprentice coach.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive a lot of support from my mangers and colleagues with regards to my apprenticeship.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I receive a lot of support, the only issue i face is getting the time to complete my apprenticeship work as we are short staffed at the moment and do not have the time to do so. I think that it may be beneficial to have a day clocked out of work each week to complete this.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I feel that it does help my in my role a I feel i know more about the flights, accommodation, and all round in the travel industry.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

What tips or advice would you give to others applying to TUI UK & Ireland?
Potentially give apprentices a day booked out per week to purely work on apprentice work that can be moved to garentee we got the work completed.
