Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
Assisting the Business Manager in the every day running of the business eg ensuring enough staff on shift, ordering stock and ensuring the equipment is cleaned, maintained and working correctly.
Hiring and onboarding new staff
Conducting disciplinary meetings and hearings
Producing an delivering performance reviews
Coaching shift leaders and staff
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
So far I am enjoying it but like I said previously, this is just the beginning, I only started 2 weeks ago so it's difficult to comment

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
I am at the very beginning of this Apprenticeship so it is difficult to say so far but I chose this particular one because I want to work on these skills and move over into our People Services team

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
It seems to be very well structured and we have been given all the submission dates already and most of the dates for the workshops, I believe there a couple still to come
How much support do you receive from your employer?
3/5
So far, not been great due to labour constraints and lack of Managers, there isn't anywhere quiet at work where I wont get bothered so ideally need to do this from home. I have asked for this moving forward so will see what happens. When I looked at next months schedule there wasn't anything on there so I have again asked for this to be made clear. I'm happy to go off and find tine myself but I shouldn't have to. I do need a quiet space where I wont be bothered and this doesn't exist in the workplace
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
Again, I've just started, so this would have been better asked 6 months down the line
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
Hopefully it will give me some knowledge and skills to improve the people practices of my entire team
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
We don't really have anything like that at work
