5/5
I thoroughly enjoy my apprenticeship program. It has provided me with numerous opportunities to learn and develop new skills, particularly in questioning techniques and coaching. The hands-on experience and the chance to collaborate with various departments have been incredibly rewarding. Overall, it has been a highly enriching and enjoyable experience.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
During my apprenticeship, I have learnt and developed several skills. I explored different questioning techniques, including open, closed, probing, and reflective questions, and learnt when to use them appropriately within a coaching conversation.. Additionally, I gained insights into avoiding leading questions and applying effective questioning techniques in a coaching context. I also learnt the importance of including tools that cover all learning styles to allow my coachee to explore a variety of learning styles. aswell as coaching models, and how NLP and CBT play a part in coaching. These skills have enhanced my ability to train and coach

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
My apprenticeship programme is well-organised and structured. It includes a clear timeline with specific start dates and scheduled workshops. For example, the programme launch was on 26th September 2024, followed by virtual classroom sessions on various dates- The sessions are delivered over Teams, ensuring accessibility and convenience. I know what is expected of me and when it is expected of me, which allows me to plan accordingly.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
I receive substantial support from my employer during my apprenticeship. My manager and the team are actively involved in my progress reviews, which occur every 12 weeks. These reviews highlight and celebrate my progress while discussing any additional support needed. Additionally, my employer provides a supportive environment that allows me sufficient time to learn. I also receive further support such as an induction separate from my learning provider, Ambassadors/Mentors to guide me, and the Early Careers Team attending my gateway meeting to assist with mocks and EPA prep. Furthermore, there are networking events, corporate membership with the Association of Apprentices, Credly credentialing of skills, celebration and awards events, and encouragement to use volunteering days to participate in career fairs and school engagement work.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
my training provider ensures I have regular progress reviews every 12 weeks, which help me stay on track and address any areas where I might need additional assistance.
I know where to access support where and when I need it and the workshops they host for my course are invaluable.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
