My role helps in the administration of dealing with Companies that are going insolvent or needs advice on their options. I do a lot of the back ground work in getting companies into Liquidation or Administration whether that is paperwork or emails and phone calls.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

The programme is a great way to get an accounting qualification whilst gaining on the job experience and being able to apply your knowledge. I have a lot of fun whilst on the training programme and being at Kaplan. It is good to have teaching in person to get support.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have developed my communication skills when speaking to Directors, creditors and debtors. I have gained a lot of confidence in working in an office with a lot of people in the department and being able to work together as a team.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

Kaplan is very organised and follows a structured timetable when they teach the content and there are flexibility on when to take the exams for the first level of the qualification.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

My department has been supportive with the training programme and allows me to attend college to learn the content of the qualification.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Kaplan has given a lot of support with my exams during teaching and they take their time to teach everyone.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Unfortunately, the qualification does not completely link to insolvency but it is still good knowledge to have in the advisory aspect and being able to understand companies financial information
