Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Day to Day I am in control of uploading and reconciling the university's bank accounts. Additionally I support the vat manager in preparing the vat return along with varied month end tasks such as transfer pricing, payroll reconciliations & quarterly consolidations.

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

It is a very good programme, I have a lot of support from the team and also from Kaplan, the training provider for the L7 ACCA apprenticeship.

I have developed my financial accounting skills alongside studying ACCA.

It is very organised and structed, the talent coach for my apprenticeship is very good at ensuring I stay on top of my requirements for the apprenticeship. My team who I work with are also really good at developing my professional work and opportunities.

Why?

The university has a lot of opportunities, and specifically for the level 7 accounting apprenticeship there is a lot of support for this which is invaluable due too the difficulty of the accounting exams.
