Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I work within the HR team to complete admin task and project work, involving the HR systems updates, holiday queries, new starter process and inductions etc

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoy the new skills, behaviours and knowledge I learn throughout the course. My work have been amazing in making sure I have the 20% out to focus on my study and check-ins with the Employment team have been so helpful. My coach on the course has always been available for help if needed its been amazing.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt most new skills whilst on the apprenticeship, including Python, coding, Power BI, Data analytics lifecycle, linear and logistic regression, time series forecasting all new skills to me.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The programme is fully structured and you are given a full breakdown of the course and every teams learning session before you start. I felt fully aware through-out the process what was happening and what I needed to do and what was coming up next within the course.

How much support do you receive from your employer?

They have been great, my manager always checks in with my development through-out the course and allowing my 1 day a week working from home to solely focus on the course has been amazing support. The employment team ensure I have regular check ins with them and have been a huge support to ensure I know were to go or who to speak with if I needed anything

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

My coach as explained has been amazing, [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the Higherin Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] from Multiverse is always just a email away and I have been able to go to him whenever I need help and he is always so positive and friendly and more then anything always been able to help me with everything

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I do think I have developed skills that I do use within my role but want to continue to develop these skills within the role and the business. Something I learnt aren't within my role because I am in HR doing a data apprenticeship looking to develop my skills.

Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There is always something to get involved in within work. We have a number of groups that help to organise events including a network called Bee Well that put together wellbeing events

Why?

It is such a positive place to work with such a focus on health and wellbeing. They have been the most supportive company to work for whilst going through the apprenticeship, making sure I had the time to do all my course work. The team I work with are amazing and so supportive and continue to help develop my skills ongoing
