During my apprenticeship I was on the IT Service Desk providing a service to internal stakeholders and third parties. I developed fundamental technical and soft skills in the role tackling tasks, incidents and requests face to face and via other online channels.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Despite the challenges, I thoroughly enjoyed the programme and what it had to offer !
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I obtained three certifications away from my apprenticeship, developing my cloud computing skills & network/hardware troubleshooting. I grew in confidence and enhanced my presentation skills through talks in front of crowds and leading group discussions.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

It was very well organised, I had a good work-life balance and I had enough time to complete my apprenticeship in working hours. It also followed a structure I understood to allow me to excel.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Various support channels. Supported me during difficult periods to help reduce workload in my role to focus on the apprenticeship side of the role.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I had a dedicated learning mentor who I could always reach out to and had regular catchups with. The technical support was there as well as emotional.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It allowed me to have a broader range of knowledge and knowledge I could implement into my day to day role to find solutions and resolve incidents.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

I've participated in many activities including rounders, quiz nights and playing football at the CBS arena all for good causes !
