As Regional Director, I over see the quality and commercial performance of a portfolio of seven care homes. I have direct line management responsibilities for seven Home Managers and a Regional Quality Manager.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

The programme is enjoyable and easy to engage with. The knowledge questions and assessments help embed the learning as well as help in establishing how much the learner has learned.

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

There are quarterly meetings scheduled with my PDE and I can request extra time slots if I need them. I have had one meeting so far and look forward to more. In saying this, I did post a question to my provider via their intranet and did not get a response. This is the reason I am scoring a 6 and not higher.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It is too early to say. I started the programme on the 27th of March 2025 and am only four weeks into it. So far so promising. I am scoring lower because I am unable to measure how well the programme has helped me perform better.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Unable to confirm this at this time as I have not long started the programme.

So far the programme has been insightful and easy to engage with. I see huge potential that it will improve on my role and leadership skills and knowledge.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Bupa?
Follow the guidance advice and given by the provider and the tips for success. Make sure there is time set aside to do the course work so that you do not fall behind.
