Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
• Partnering with the business leaders on achieving measures by utilising data and evaluation to help them understand and work with suppliers on positioning apprenticeships to meet business requirements.
• Contract manager for bronze supplier contract, ensuring delivery of apprenticeship provision is of the highest quality, managing risks and issues and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs)
• Connecting with other Cohort Managers on a regular basis to share knowledge and ensure consistency of service is being delivered and building an Apprentice community for current and alumni apprentices.
• Proactively seeking out new ways to improve the apprentice experience through internal (cross government) and external benchmarking of best practice and driving continuous improvement.
• Overseeing the coordination and delivery of the apprenticeship induction events for all apprentices, including the signing of the apprenticeship agreement between the apprentice, line manager and learning provider.
• Develop a thorough understanding and up-hold the apprenticeship standards, the curriculum, explore how this offer can be expanded, and how learning should be delivered to ensure a positive learning experience.
• Increasing engagement opportunities to drive the apprenticeship agenda and think ‘apprentice first’ approach.
Other Day-to-day Activities
You will also be expected to carry out the following day to day activities:
• Building a strong profile and network across HR and wider Home Office.
• Supporting the development and continuous improvement of the apprenticeship offer; identifying new ways in which to support the apprentice and line manager and putting in place interventions where needed to build capability e.g., mentoring and design and delivery of learning support sessions.
