This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity working on the front line in public services as part of the Home Office. You will receive on-the-job training to help you carry out the same duties as a permanent employee. In addition, you will work towards industry-recognised qualifications for which you will be given time away from your daily duties to complete the learning.

Operational business areas within the Home Office:

• UK Visas & Immigration - UK Visas and Immigration is responsible for making millions of decisions every year about who has the right to visit or stay in the country
• Immigration Enforcement - Immigration Enforcement is responsible for preventing abuse, tracking immigration offenders and increasing compliance with immigration law.
• Border Force - Border Force is a law enforcement command. They secure the UK border by carrying out immigration and customs controls for people and goods entering the UK.
• HM Passport Office - Border Force is a law enforcement command. They secure the UK border by carrying out immigration and customs controls for people and goods entering the UK.
