I work in a small team planning and facilitating the resurfacing of the counties highways.

The apprenticeship provided by Balfour Beatty is really well organised and the support offered is great. The course provided by the learning provider is underwhelming and has fallen well short of my expectations.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

They are understanding of my constraints and commitments but overall the service they provide and the level of teaching has been disappointing.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

There are certain elements that have been relevant to my role but the course as a whole seems to be more orientated towards the construction of properties or buildings, rather than roads.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are a couple of events organised such as a 'summer social' and I have been invited to several networking and team-building events within the early careers programme.
