Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Civil Design Engineer, power transmission and distribution. I started in temporary works, now working in the design department for civils. Working on setting level diagrams where i work out the ground level for a transmission tower.

yes, learned how to use CAD and REVIT, as well as improve communication, team work and problem solving.

It is very well structured and the organisation between different business teams is very good.

I receive a lot of support, especially when i have exams and assignment at university.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I receive a lot of support, from time off work, help with any university work I do not understand and help with my ICE progession.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Parts of my course are linked to my work, however some parts of it have no relevance to my workplace. However, it is still good knowledge in the area i work in.
