Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
My role involves forecasting budget in alignment with budget to assess work progress, handling payments, and resolving contractual disputes.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I really enjoy my programme with BB. I get the opportunity to be involved in many different things and also have access the projects across the business to further expand my knowledge.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I have learnt so much throughout my time at Balfour Beatty. I believe I have learnt key skills which are transferable to any workplace and really noticed my confidence grow.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
Other than the programme being listed as 5 years, I don't believe there is a specific structure that is followed. However, BB ensure you have exposure to different things to build your expertise, knowledge and confidence.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
My Employer is great in terms of support. I feel comfortable to speak about any worries or concerns I may have, and they always support me where they can. They also provide extensive encouragement towards my studies.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
There are individuals at UCLan who are extremely supportive, however I think others lack in that area. As a whole, I do feel supported, but I think they could do more to portray this.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
Throughout the first couple of years of my degree, I wasn't sure it was adding anything to my role as I felt I was learning more "on the job". However, now coming to the end of year 4, I notice the content is relatable to real life scenarios.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
There are many things to get involved in at BB (if you wish) - social activities, groups etc. I like the fact that you can choose if you want to get involved, or if so, how much...
