My role allows me to act and take part in responsibilities like a qualified Quantity Surveyor such as cost valuations, applications for payment, project meetings, invoices, subcontract orders, Schedule of rates, bill of quantities.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

My programme is amazing due to be able to get a degree and work at the same time. It allows me to be financially stable, get experience in the real world and gain valuable knowledge at the same time

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt to many to list however some examples are computer skills, communication, self responsibility and cost valuations.

I receive so much support form my employer, there is constant catch up calls and calls about the early career programme
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

The training provider is always open to support when need so such as emails messages or talking through lectures. also, I have a monthly meeting with my mentor at the university to go through things and make sure I am developing.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

this helps me because the things we learn about relate to what I do and saves time during the actual work time which means I can be more productive in my role.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There is such as extra commercial development courses, your team are always willing to do something if you want and there is always volunteering days and days to connect with other members of the team such as early career events.
