Daily tasks vary but often include research tasks, preparing legal and compliance documents, designing marketing documents for businesses. Daily working with the Partner, Director and other team members.

I enjoyed the program and have felt supported by the wider team both in my studies and in work.

Lots of skills have been developed, namely presentation skills, communication and team working skills.

The learning and development team at PKF have been supportive and have clearly directed me in what needs completing, including tasks for the ICAEW file which is easy to forget.

My qualification has given me a good understanding of basic accounting principles which supports with my day to day work.

Lots of social events planned both as a team and an office, this is a mix of sports events and more informal social events. I also have attended a range of networking events within the wider finance community.

The firm is very cohesive and friendly, everyone is approachable even at a senior level. There is a focus on personal and professional development, with the management looking to promote and develop from within.

Be genuine and show personality in interviews as it is a very people based business. This plays a part alongside the technical aspects.
